Jewely and Naoko's Birthday Celebration - Day 2

Episode 96- "Cold Hearted Uranus? Makoto in Trouble" (Dub: "Lita Borrows Trouble")

Usagi and Makoto are out and about when Haruka hits them with her motorcycle. Haruka gets off her bike to help them. They are ok, but Makoto has hurt her hand. Haruka takes a scarf of hers and wraps it around Makoto's hand.

Makoto becomes infatuated with Haruka. Usagi gets concerned for her friend since Haruka is a girl and already in a close relationship with someone.

Later, Makoto wants to return the scarf to Haruka, but as she is walking, it gets blown away. She runs after it and sees that it lands underneath a car.

Watching from afar is Kaolinite, who believes Makoto has a pure heart crystal. Kaolinite then places a Daimon egg in the scarf.

As Makoto reaches for the scarf, it transforms into a Daimon monster.

Usagi and Ami, who were running after Makoto, see what is happening and transform into Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury. As the monster attacks Makoto, Sailor Mercury uses "shine aqua illusion" to freeze the monster's tentacles and free her.Kaolinite then tells the Daimon to retreat. Sailor Uranus and Neptune decide to follow Makoto since she is a target.

That night, Haruka and Michiru offer Makoto a ride. Makoto of course goes with them since she is still admiring Haruka.

They end up stopping to enjoy the view at the bay. Makoto calls the other girls on the communicator to let them know that she is fine, but is attacked by the Daimon shortly after. Haruka and Michiru pretend to try and stop it but are knocked into a nearby bush. They transform and watch to see what happens.

Makoto cannot transform and has her heart crystal taken. Uranus and Neptune fight to take it, but they see that it isn't the one they want.

Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Venus get there and rescue Makoto so she can transform. Sailor Jupiter attacks the Daimon to weaken it. Sailor Moon then uses "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" and destroys the Daimon.

Sailor Jupiter sees Uranus and Neptune and begins to attack them, since they just allowed her heart crystal to be taken. Uranus punches her in the stomach, then she and Neptune run. Neptune notices that Jupiter hurt Uranus' hand. Uranus admits that Jupiter is tough.

Later, Makoto finds Haruka to make sure she is ok. She sees that Haruka's hand is injured, then wraps the scarf around it. Makoto and Usagi then go shopping to buy Makoto her own scarf.

This episode is in my top favorites because it is about my other favorite senshi, Sailor Jupiter! I also like how it focuses on some of the confusion that all girls go through every day. Makoto is just another girl trying to figure out her life, even with her super powers.

New Sailor Moon Anime Wish List Top 10

With the upcoming new Sailor Moon anime, we have heard very little about what they are going to do with the design/story. We do know that it is set to release in July of this year and we also know it is not a redo, but a completely different work. Here are some things that I would like to see in the new anime.

1.Up to date fashions for the senshi's civilian forms.
   I started watching Sailor Moon in 1998. So by then, the fashions were all a little "dated". I would like to see each character's personality shine in the way they dress.

2. More character development for the other girls rather than just Sailor Moon.
  One thing I always praise the live-action show for is how much focus there was on EACH senshi, not just Usagi. I love Usagi, but I also love Minako, Makoto, and Ami. I would like to see more light shed on the other characters.

3.Sailor V
  I don't know how they would put her in the story, but I think we would all like to see at least a flashback episode of Sailor V, the original senshi.

4. Less filler, more story.
   I would like to see the story progress more, rather than just staying on one point in the story for so long. (Ex. Amazon Trio is awesome, but not a lot happens in the story til they are leaving)

5. Chibi Chibi's story from the manga. (Sailor Cosmos)
  I would like to see the original Chibi Chibi origin story. I think they could do Sailor Cosmos beautifully.

6. Human Luna, Artemis, and Diana.
  I would like to see them all 3 in their human forms, and a mention of planet Mau.

7.Sailor Quartet
  Enough said.

8. Sailor senshi (other than Sailor Moon) different outfits.
  I know it probably won't happen, but I would like to see more of a change in the senshi's fukus when they "upgrade". In the original anime, there was not a very noticeable difference. I think they could at least end on their Eternal fukus.

9. Let some other couple besides Usagi and Mamoru have a love story.
  I would be happy with more of a focus on Haruka and Michiru than they got the first time around. I have always wanted the other girls to find love. Fan-fiction can only get you so far. :)

10. Princess Senshi
 I have cosplayed Princess Neptune, so naturally I am a fan of the princesses. I love the scene in the manga where they see their castles. I believe each one of them deserves a princess title on screen.
